An Alternate Approach to Lunar Human Exploration: The Flexible Lunar Architecture for Exploration (FLARE)
The Flexible Lunar Architecture for Exploration (FLARE) is an alternate approach to the planned Artemis mission design for delivering cargo and crew to the lunar surface. FLARE employs launch vehicles developed by NASA and commercial vendors then adds a SpaceTug element to transfer as-sets between Earth and lunar orbits.
